Art & Design / DT
Our Art/DT network is not to be missed and will heavily support leads within school. All sessions are led by national consultant Julie Mitchell FRSA and take place between 1:15-5:15pm at St Bernard’s, Ellesmere Port. Please arrive no later than 12:55 to register. Tea and coffee provided.
These sessions will be heavy on the practical side of things, so get ready to get stuck in and have some fun whilst picking up tips and ideas for your classroom practice! Delegates need aprons, charged laptops, memory stick, smart phones, and their own sketchbook.
Thursday 19th November 2020: Design Technology: Transferable Skills: MAKE (Shape, Connect, Construct – including sketchbook work)
Thursday 21st January 2021: Art and Design: ‘Animals including Humans’ – practical ideas fest for working across media in this scientific area of learning that comes up year after year in the primary school. Includes sketchbook work.
Thursday 25th March 2021: Art/Design Technology: Puppets (cross-curricular – sculpture, construction, textile design, plus the knock-on effects onto English/Drama/Humanities/Maths). Includes sketchbook work.
