Practical Strategies to support children with Dyslexia and/or Dyscalculia in the mainstream classroom
We are offering, at a small cost, an opportunity to learn and deepen your knowledge and understanding of practical strategies used to support children with dyslexia and/or dyscalculia in a mainstream class.
These strategies will not only support children with a SPLD but support all children in your class particularly those who are working below age related expectations.
● One in ten of the population is estimated to have dyslexia.
● One in five children leave primary school below the national expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics.
● One in ten children do not reach the expected standard in reading by the time they finish primary school.
● One in six adults still only have the reading skills of an 11-year-old
