Paediatric First Aid (2 days Level 3)
Please note that this is a block booking for 2 training days. Please ensure both dates are added to diaries / calendars:
Thursday 11th October & Friday 12th October 9:00am – 3:00pm
The Emergency Paediatric First Aid (England, Wales, Northern Ireland RQF level 3 / Scotland SCQG level 6) qualification is valid for three years.
The course consists of 12 contact hours, including of practical and theoretical activities.
The course syllabus includes:
Responsibilities and reporting | Assessing the situation | Resuscitation | Fainting | Dealing with an unresponsive casualty | Choking | Head injuries | Diabetes | Infantile convulsions | Foreign bodies | Control of bleeding | Anaphylaxis | Eye injuries | Fractures | Heat and Cold | Asthma | Sickle cell anaemia | Meningitis | Burns | Shock

Lunch isn’t provided for this course so we would kindly request that delegates come prepared.
