Mathematics – TA Training (2 days)

Teaching Assistants will look at the effective use of models and images to support children within the class and as part of an intervention. A range of everyday resources will be used to support this including some innovative activities using Numicon. The course will also look at how effective questioning and teaching strategies can support children with their learning and look at the indicators for Dyscalculia when interventions may appear to not be working for individual children.
