Purposeful Practical Science : Encouraging Enquiry/Increasing Understanding
A One Day Course for science teachers, TAs and leaders
Teachers are often encouraged to engage their children in more practical work during their science lessons but not all practical work leads to good learning opportunities.
This full day course examines when, how and why practical work should be used to encourage children to think and work scientifically and use practical science activities to build their scientific understanding and knowledge.
During the day we will identify the best uses of practical science and try a host of ideas and activities matched to the primary science curriculum.
Delegates will leave with all the resources in electronic format so that they can easily adapted to suit their school.
