Maths EYFS – afternoon session

This is a half day (1pm-5pm) session with no lunch provided

Audience: EYFS Practitioners, Maths Subject Leaders and support staff

Course Outline

Delegates will be supported in looking at the findings from their assessment data to plan next steps for their children.  Teachers will trial activities that will enable children to develop a secure understanding of number and be given ways of creating oportunities for children to explore mathematics in the environment, indoors and outdoors.

Course Outcomes

Teachers will leave the session with resources to support planning and a bank of activities to enable the children to explore mathematics throughout their environment to develop a secure understanding of early number concepts.  Teachers will have had the opportunity to consider their assessment data and to plan the next steps for the children.
