Free introductory session – writing moderation & understanding gaps in learning Yr 5/6

In support of your recovery curriculum, we would like to offer a free introductory writing moderation session for Y5/6 teachers within the Ignite Partnership. At this session, we will investigate writing samples for each year group using the Literacy Company’s Assessment Frameworks. This will guide moderation of your pupils’ writing produced in the first few weeks of term and will highlight gaps in learning. Priority teaching foci for the autumn term will be developed from this investigation of written work.
