EYFS – Learning outdoors with Ruth Swailes

75% of children in England spend less time outside than prison inmates. Yet research shows it is fundamental to children’s well being and vital for physical development, which is so essential for developing the key skills needed to write and to combat obesity.

This course will explore the power of outdoor learning, how it differs from learning inside the classroom and will give practitioners an opportunity to review their current practice and develop an improvement plan for their own outdoor learning environments
