English – Improving Writing – Lead Teachers (6 days)

This 6 day programme is designed for a designated lead teacher from each school who will oversee and lead the development of a writing project. The project looks at embedding Pie Corbett’s ‘talk for writing’ strategies across the school. It supports the development of an approach to teaching non-fiction and will also support the implementation of key areas of the NC for English. Lead teachers will be provided with materials to deliver staff meetings back at their own schools.
